I was always into sports. Dancing, running, gym, horse riding, pole, silks, cycling, skiing, kite surfing, wakeboarding…you name it. Fit and healthy, I took it for granted. Then, it happened. The motorbike accident. While the majority of people were suffering from Covid 19 pandemic, I was rolling with wheelchair in and out the hospital, getting ready for my next surgery. I lost my job. I lost my mobility. The doctors said I would not recover ever again. They wanted to amputate my leg. My leg survived but I had to go through four surgeries and I was so depressed and devastated that I didn’t want to be alive. I could not do anything that I used to do before. I could not even walk. My leg looked ugly and it didn’t want to move. I hated everything.
That was the end. But, also, it was the beginning, the beginning of FittMind attitude. Because after a while I started to realise that you have to believe in yourself and this is the only way. I began to believe that I would recover and be strong again. I was crying at the gym, recovering through the pain but I got better to the point that doctors said it’s a miracle. I know the price of this miracle but I also know now that everything is possible. Our body is amazing, it can work wonders. But we have to believe in ourselves, set right objectives and train our mind, otherwise, there will be no result. Therefore, I am here with FittMind, so you can also accomplish all your fitness goals! Everyone can be strong, fit and healthy. Let’s do it!
Julia Fenko – Brenkman
Originally from Ukraine, Julia Fenko – Brenkman was growing up as the citizen of the world, living in various countries before moving to the UAE in 2010. She is deeply passionate about sports, nutrition and holistic lifestyle and has over 15 years of experience working with multinational clients worldwide.

Julia learnt the vital connection between our body and mind while she was obtaining her Bachelor’s in Psychology in the UK. Since then, she became truly passionate about helping others to prioritize their wellbeing and live a healthier and happier life. In addition, she is REP’s recognized Level 3 Personal Trainer and has a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

Adventure sports enthusiast, Julia truly believes that difficulties help us to become the better version of ourselves, so there is always room for that extra push. Also, her hobbies are travelling and scuba diving.
